Wedding guide can be a help. Putting together a wedding reception is no simple matter. It is not something you could just do at the spur of the moment. Weddings can become complicated considering the fact that it involves so many people, the in-laws and the out-laws as one of my pastors jokingly mentioned, including friends and co-workers, your guests list can really burgeon out of control. Then there is the wedding reception banquet, the flowers, the ceremony, the wedding photos, the honeymoon destination, etc you can easily be overwhelmed with all the details to look into.
The purpose of having a wedding guide is to help you out in your wedding planning hopefully a perfect wedding guide would come out of it. No two couples wedding plans are alike. Some can be a simple and quick, while others could be elaborate and require some meticulous wedding planning. Weddings cannot be quickly prepared one or two months ahead of the wedding date, it needs more time than that. Elaborate weddings need at least six months advance planning; in fact a year in advance would be better. Starting out in an easy pace as you check things out and preparing your requirements and they do tend to get a little hectic towards the wedding day itself. Some wedding details just have to be done on that day itself and thus the pressure involve in getting things done can be very tiring and stressful.
The wedding arrangement is more often than not done in great detail by the bride and the groom tends to take things easy. However the tab is usually settled by the groom so a prior understanding of what to have and what not to have should be understood and discussed when planning your wedding event.
Weddings require a lot of planning and this cannot be done alone by the couple. Your wedding budget is too much? Trim off the unnecessary fluff and keep the budget in order. Each wedding couple is not the same. You may want something wonderful like a fairy tale, but you also do need to look at it realistically from a budget standpoint unless of course it is not an issue then go for it!
Above all, it is your wedding so relax, even if things don’t go according to the wedding guide, leave it and don’t fret about it, take it lightly and enjoy your wonderful wedding occasion. It is a celebration of life, of family and friends gathering together to share a wedding couple’s happy moment of union.
